Happy Thanksgiving!!! WARNING!!! Parental Advisory on the Pic Though...

gobble... gobble..

Thanksgiving day is almost over and in a few minutes, it will be Black Friday. Black Friday here is different from the Black Friday in the Philippines, it has nothing to do with Jesus. It is all about the huge sales that different stores will have to lure people in. It is the official beginning of the holiday shopping season. It is during this time that people buy their presents. Stores would open early, some at 5:00 AM (like our store which opens at 5:30 AM, good thing I'm scheduled in the afternoon!!), and have specials usually 'til 12:00 noon. This is where a lot of people wake up early and line-up in front of the store and once the door open, there will be a stampede of crazy people.

During Black Friday, people buy stuff that they won't normally buy if it's just a regular day. Just like me. I'm now broke because I just bought snowboard stuff. I haven't gone snowboarding yet but I just don't want to pass the chance to buy those items at a very cheap price. The discount is bigger than our usual employee discount!! Now, I have to go snowboarding. I'll probably go next year since it is currently peak season and there will be lots of people. I'll go when the season is almost over so the resort will all be to myself! Hahaha!!!

This is also my first Thanksgiving by myself. It was okay, peaceful. I didn't have time to cook special food since I worked earlier so I just warmed the ham that I bought at the grocery yesterday. I got the ham as a substitute to the traditional turkey which takes a lot of work to cook. I also cooked some yellow rice and corn. All very easy to cook. Not a bad Thanksgiving after all... Not at all...

Comments:
di naman masarap ang turkey...walang lasa! hahaha kawawa naman yung nasa picture...parang nanggaling ng iraq war...
