New Year
Welcome 2007! One more year and I'll be done with college! Woohooo!!! That is if everything goes according to plan (which I hope will be).
A lot has happened the past month. I watched the Video Game Awards live, finished another semester, went back to Hawaii for vacation and USC won the Rose Bowl among others.
Something interesting happened on my flight back to LA from Honolulu. It was cancelled. I was suppose to fly out Thurs, Jan 4 but Hawaiian Air said that the plane wasn't going anywhere. Something was broken and they couldn't fix it. We waited more than 3 hours in the gate because we just thought that our flight was just being delayed! They should have just told us earlier that it was being cancelled. They told the passengers that we would be put in a hotel with a $20 dinner voucher. Well, I rather go home than go to a hotel and I did, eventhough the hotel was Marriot. The next day, the day of my rescheduled flight, I overheard a girl talking that they were brought to the Marriot resort. I made the right choice of not going there for a couple of reasons: I've already been there because my uncle is a manager there and second, I got a compensation in the form of a $400 Hawaiian Air voucher which I can use on my next trip. Sweet!
All I did for my vacation in Hawaii was be the driver, run errands and watch Eat Bulaga because we have GMA Pinoy TV. GMA is still better than TFC. I am once again broke because of the Holiday season that passed.
When I was in Hawaii, I took pictures of the rainbow that I see when I drive.
It's Spring semester again!
